Dr. Richard Burroughs, M.D
Dr. Richard Burroughs graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received his medical degree from the University of Vermont. He completed dermatology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and his most recent assignment with the military was Chief of Dermatology, Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. He retired from the Army after 24 years of service to return to the Bay Area where he is originally from. His interests are Medical, as well as Cosmetic Dermatology. Our dermatologists are actively involved in research and clinical trials, bringing the latest advancements in dermatology to our patients.
Jessica Tran, NP
Jessica Tran, RN, FNP, a specialist with over five years of Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology experience. Nurse Tran completed her Nurse Practitioner training at Samuel Merritt University. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Jessica's focus is providing care in a friendly and approachable manner to help patients feel confident and better in their own skin and improve their quality of life, Jessica looks forward to working with you soon.
Emily chamberlain, NP
Emily Chamberlain is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who graduated with honors from Samuel Merritt University. Emily comes with 10 plus years in cosmetic and medical dermatology. She has special interests in skin cancer screenings, acne, stubborn warts, pigmentary conditions such as melasma, vitiligo, and psoriasis. When Emily is not working, she enjoys reading, gardening, and sports. Emily looks forward to working with you soon.

Kim Hoang, NP, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who completed her advanced training at Duke University. She has spent the past three years practicing Family Medicine, caring for patients across all ages and managing a wide range of dermatologic conditions. Her passion for skin health and beauty has led her to transition into Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine, where she combines medical expertise with an artistic eye to help patients look and feel their best. Kim is dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based care to achieve healthy, radiant skin and natural results.
ghazel waiz, pa-c
Ghazel is a California native who received her BA in Public Health with a minor in Global Poverty and Practice from UC Berkeley and her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Samuel Merritt University. Ghazel specializes in dermatology with experience and knowledge in both clinical and cosmetic dermatology. She is passionate about providing the highest standard of care and ensuring natural-looking results. Committed to improving access to health care in underserved populations, Ghazel has provided medical care on several medical mission trips to Kenya and numerous refugee camps throughout Greece. Ghazel has received several academic accolades and is published in the Journal of Trauma Surgery and Acute Care.
